■ 총평
① 오늘도 금호타이어 한 종목이 하루를 만들었다. 익절 합계 +65,280원 중 +64,380원, 무려 98.6%가 금호타이어에서 나왔다. 261주라는 큰 비중을 짧게 끊지 않고 +4.32%까지 끌고 간 결과다. 나머지 한 종목(원익홀딩스 +0.17%)은 얇은 스캘핑성 익절에 그쳤다.
② 지난 7/7 복기에서 나는 '익절의 크기는 건수가 아니라 비중 × 폭에서 나온다'고 적었다. 오늘은 그 명제가 더 극단적으로 드러난 날이다. 원익홀딩스는 30주를 +0.17%에 끊어 +900원, 금호타이어는 261주를 +4.32%까지 끌고 가 +64,380원 — 같은 '한 건'이지만 결과는 71배 차이다. 비중도 폭도 큰 자리 하나를 제대로 들고 간 것이, 오늘 하루의 거의 전부였다.
③ 반복되는 이름을 기록해 둔다. 7/7에도 하루를 만든 종목이 금호타이어(+80,201)였고, 오늘 다시 금호타이어(+64,380)가 하루를 만들었다. 손에 익어 자리와 호흡을 아는 종목에서 큰 익절이 나온다는 것 — 종목 수를 넓히는 것보다 아는 종목을 깊게 파는 쪽이 내 결과를 만들어 왔다는 방증이다. 다만 한 종목 의존도가 98.6%까지 치우친 것은, 자랑인 동시에 경계할 지점이다.
④ 시장은 9,000 목전(+1.80%)까지 반도체가 끌어올린 날이었는데, 정작 큰 익절은 반도체(원익홀딩스, 소재·장비)가 아니라 비반도체(금호타이어)에서 나왔다. 지수를 견인한 섹터에서 내가 끊은 자리는 +0.17% 얇은 스캘핑이었고, 지수와 무관하게 방향이 살아 있던 종목 하나를 크게 끊은 것이 하루를 만들었다. 지수의 방향과 내 종목의 자리는 다르다는 것을, 7/7에 이어 오늘도 다시 확인한다.
⚠️ 다음 과제: 오늘의 숙제는 두 개다. 하나는 한 종목 의존도(98.6%)를 낮추는 것 — 금호타이어가 없던 날을 가정하면 오늘은 +900원짜리 하루였다. 다른 하나는 얇은 스캘핑(원익홀딩스 +0.17%)의 실효를 다시 묻는 것 — 큰 자리(금호타이어)가 살아 있는 날, 굳이 +900원짜리 얇은 자리에 손을 나눠야 했는지. 아는 종목을 깊게 파는 강점은 지키되, 큰 자리 하나에 하루가 통째로 걸리지 않도록 자리를 하나 더 만드는 것 — 그것이 다음 과제다.

■ Assessment
① Today, again, one name — Kumho Tire — made the day. Of the +65,280 total, +64,380, a full 98.6%, came from Kumho Tire. It was the result of carrying a large position of 261 shares all the way to +4.32% instead of cutting it short. The other name (Wonik Holdings +0.17%) was no more than a thin scalp-grade exit.
② In my July 7 review I wrote that "the size of an exit comes not from the count, but from weight × width." Today that proposition showed itself even more starkly. Wonik was 30 shares cut at +0.17% for +900; Kumho was 261 shares carried to +4.32% for +64,380 — the same "one trade," yet a 71-fold difference in result. Carrying one setup, large in both weight and width, properly to the end was almost the whole of today.
③ I note a recurring name. On July 7 the name that made the day was Kumho Tire (+80,201), and today again Kumho Tire (+64,380) made the day. Big exits come from a name whose setups and rhythm I know by hand — evidence that digging deep into names I know has made my results more than widening the count of names. Still, a single-name concentration skewed to 98.6% is at once a boast and a point to guard.
④ The market was a day chips hauled to the 9,000 threshold (+1.80%), yet the big exit came not from chips (Wonik, materials/equipment) but from a non-chip name (Kumho Tire). My exit in the sector that led the index was a thin +0.17% scalp, and it was cutting one name whose direction was alive apart from the index, and cutting it big, that made the day. Following July 7, I confirm again that the index's direction and my single name's setup are two different things.
⚠️ Next task: today's homework is twofold. One is to lower the single-name concentration (98.6%) — assume a day without Kumho Tire, and today was a +900 day. The other is to ask again the worth of the thin scalp (Wonik +0.17%) — on a day a big setup (Kumho) was alive, whether I needed to split my hand into a +900 thin setup at all. Keep the strength of digging deep into names I know, but build one more setup so a whole day does not hang on a single big one — that is the next task.
